• Confirm that the camera is connected correctly and firmly.
Check the camera connection.

• If the connection is appropriate, the cable may be broken or the

camera may be out of order. Consult the dealer.

The "Thermal error" indication is dis-
played on the main monitor.

• The ambient operating temperature is +5 °C to +45 °C {41 °F to

113 °F}. The "Thermal error" indication is displayed when the
ambient operating temperature exceeds +40 °C {104 °F}. If the
"Thermal error" indication is displayed, it is recommended to
change the installation environment so that the ambient tempera-
ture is maintained below +25 °C {77 °F}. When the "Thermal
error" indication is displayed frequently, contact your dealer.

The clock of the recorder may keep
bad time.

• Has the built-in battery sufficiently been charged?
Charge the built-in backup battery by turning on the power for 48

hours or more.

• Is the built-in backup battery depleted?
The built-in battery life is approximately 5 years as an indication of

replacement. (The built-in battery life may become shorter
depending on the use condition.)

The HDD indicator is being lit red/
blinking red.

• The hard disk drive is faulty. Contact your dealer.

Cannot copy data on the SD memory
card.
Image data saved on the SD memory
card cannot be searched or played
back.

• Is a recommended SD memory card used?
• Some SD memory cards cannot be used with this recorder. It is

recommended to use Panasonic's SD memory card.

• Are data copied to the SD memory card
