Close the main body front door.
% Proceed to step 7 to operate also the compression adjusting lever of the 2nd fusing unit.

Open the 2nd fusing unit front door.

Turn down the lever [EF2] leftward, then withdraw the 2nd fus-
ing device.

According to the paper type and weight checked in step 1,
move the compression adjusting lever of the 2nd fusing unit to
the proper position.
% Check the proper position of the compression adjusting lever by the table on page 4-15.

Return the 2nd fusing unit to its original position, then reset the lever [EF2].
