41 When using the IPv6+IPSec networking
within the same subnet, and if the PC oper-
ates without excluding ICMPv6 from IPSec
as is normally done, the machine should
also be set so as not to exclude ICMPv6
from IPSec as well. ICMPv6 will not be excluded from IPSec.
Important:
When changing this setting, make sure
to turn off the sub power switch and then
turn it back on in order to retain the set-
ting.
44 Sub folders should be checked when per-
forming SMB browsing to PCs that have
many shared folders. The sub folders can be checked, but it
may take a few minutes.
45/46 The color mode should be specified when
printing data without the PJL command. The color mode for data without the PJL
command can be specified.
Options:
45/46 = Off/Off: Auto Color
45/46 = Off/On: Full Color
45/46 = On/Off: Grayscale
45/46 = On/On: Auto Color
47 Only black (K) should be used for the black
or gray color to output XPS data because
CMYK mixed is used. Only black (K) is used for output.
48/49 Jobs sent from printer drivers should also
be available for forced [Print], [Save], or
[Print & Save]. Forced [Print], [Save], or [Print & Save] is
enabled for jobs sent from PS-Plugin
driver, PS-PPD driver, and PageScope
Direct Print.
Options:
48/49 = Off/Off: OFF
48/49 = Off/On: Print
48/49 = On/Off: Save
48/49 = On/On: Print & Save
50 When [Save] or [Print & Save] is set with the
switches 48/49, the destination to save
jobs should be selectable from either the
controller or the engine. Options:
Off: Controller
On: Engine
51 When printing a size larger than the maxi-
mum paper size supported by the engine,
the machine should provide options
whether to print the center area of the orig-
inal size at the same magnification or to
print out an error page instead of the data. Off: Print the center area at the same
magnification
On: Print an error page for PS or PDF
data
Print in reduced size for TIFF data

52 Even when the driver-based paper tray set-
ting is set to [Auto], jobs should be output
to the primary (main) tray. The following conditions allow a job to be
output preferentially to the primary (main)
tray even when the driver-based paper
tray setting is set to [Auto]:

Finishing is not specified for the job
• Finisher FS-521, Finisher FS-531,
or Finisher FS-612 is mounted.
Options:
Off: Not give priority to the primary (main)
tray (output to the secondary (sub) tray)
On: Give priority to the primary (main)

55 When using JDF applications, it should
also be available for the "PDF/X" output in-
tent. Options:
Off: Not available for "PDF/X" output in-
