The Keyfob

The Keyfob lets you switch your system on and
off without having to use the Control Panel.

Please be aware that Keyfobs allow your security
system to be switched off without the need for
a PIN number, so they should not be stored in
conjunction with your address.

Master Code

Your BT Home Monitor has a Master Code which
allows one user access to the System Profile
menu, where key operational settings can be
changed. The default setting is 2580 but we
advise you to change this for your security.

This is done as follows:

PRESS

DISPLAY

Until the display shows
SYSTEM PROFILE.

Enter your MASTER CODE – if you
have not selected a personal PIN
number, this will be the default
setting – 2580.

Until display shows
CHANGE USER CODE.

Display shows MASTER CODE.

Display shows MASTER CODE
2580, overwrite this with your new
MASTER CODE.

To confirm.

Choose either:

To move to the next menu
selection.

Or

Three times, then <OK> to exit to
return to READY.

• OFF

this switches the system off

• STAR

pressing this button will give
a system status report

• ON

this switches the
system on fully

• ON Home

this switches the
system on, using the
‘home’ settings
