Using subwoofer output

This product is equipped with a subwoofer
output which can be switched on or off. When
a subwoofer is connected to the rear output,
first, switch the rear output setting to

SUB.W”, then turn the subwoofer output on.

Press AUDIO and then press NEXT.

Press SW 1 to select the subwoofer

output mode.

When the subwoofer controller setting is

FULL Preout :FULL”, you cannot select “SW 1”.

Press SW 1 to turn the subwoofer out-

put on.

SUB. W ON” appears in the display.

Press

SW 1 again to turn subwoofer out-

put off.

Press or to select the phase of sub-

woofer output.
Press to select reverse phase and the
speaker appears facing downward. Press to
select normal phase and the speaker appears
facing upward.

Adjusting subwoofer settings

When the subwoofer output is on, you can ad-
just the cut-off frequency and the output level
of the subwoofer.

Press AUDIO and then press NEXT.

Press SW 2 to select the subwoofer

setting mode.

When the subwoofer output is on, you can se-

lect

SW 2.

Press or to select cut-off frequen-

cy.
Each press of or selects cut-off frequen-
cies in the following order:
5080125 (Hz)
Only frequencies lower than those in the se-
lected range are output from the subwoofer
(low pass filter).

Press or to adjust the output level

of the subwoofer.
Each press of or increases or decreases
the level of the subwoofer. “

+6” – “–6” is dis-

played as the level is increased or de-
creased.

Using nonfading output

When the non fading output setting is on, the
audio signal does not pass through this prod-
uct’s low pass filter (for the subwoofer), but is
output through the RCA output.

Press AUDIO and then press NEXT.

Press NoFAD1 to select nonfading out-

put on/off setting mode.

Only when the subwoofer controller setting is

FULL Preout :FULL”, you can switch to the non-

fading output on/off setting. (Refer to

Setting the

rear output and subwoofer controller on page 94.)
