Selecting the display
language

You can change the language setting for dis-
playing function menu and initial settings
menu.

With the source turned off, press and

hold 1.

Press M.LAN to select the language se-

lecting mode.

Press the corresponding button to se-

lect the desired language.

Notes

• English is set by default at purchase.
• You can also set a language other than the

one shown on the Navigation screen. If you
want to change the language displayed for
the Navigation screen, refer to

Setting the lan-

guage for navigation on page 42.

Setting the FM tuning step

Normally the FM tuning step employed by
seek tuning is 50 kHz. When AF or TA is on,
the tuning step automatically changes to 100
kHz. It may be preferable to set the tuning
step to 50 kHz when AF is on.

With the source turned off, press and

hold 1.

Press NEXT and then press FM step to

select the FM tuning step mode.

Press the corresponding button to se-

lect the desired tuning step.
Pressing

50K or 100K will switch the FM tun-

ing step between 50 kHz and 100 kHz while AF
or TA is on. The selected FM tuning step will
appear in the display.

Note

The tuning step remains at 50 kHz during manu-
al tuning.

Setting the Guide Select

Navigation audio (guidance) can be output
from the front speakers. You can select either
the left or the right speaker to output from.

With the source turned off, press and

hold 1.

Press NEXT and the press G.MIX to se-

lect the Guide Select mode.

Press G.MIX repeatedly to select the

desired output setting.
