MAINTENANCE

• To avoid severe burns, DO NOT attempt this

procedure when the engine, cooling, and hy-
draulic systems are hot. Wait until they have
cooled before proceeding.

• Care must be exercised to avoid skin rashes,

fire hazards and inhalation of vapors when
using solvent and alkali cleaners.

• Be careful when using steam cleaner to

avoid burns.

IMPORTANT: These instructions cover only the
routine maintenance of the transmission. Refer to
your 18000 Powershift Transmission Maintenance
and Service Manual for transmission diagnosis,
repair and component replacement. Cleanliness
is of extreme importance. Before attempting any
repairs, the exterior of the unit must be cleaned to
prevent the possibility of dirt from entering the
mechanism.
