Shutting down the system and removing the central processing unit from the DIN rail

NOTE!
The production date of the central processing unit is part of the fabrication number (F-Nr.) and
can be found on the nameplate. Refer to „Nameplate“ section in operating manual B 705001.0
or installation instructions B 705001.4 (the installation instructions are included in the scope of
delivery of the central processing unit).

NOTE!
For modules that have already been assembled ex-works, the type designation on the
nameplate of the central processing unit indicates the module type and interface (Com1 or
Com2).

If required, further information can be found in the "Identifying the device version" section in
operating manual B 705001.0 or installation instructions B 705001.4.

Activity

Shut down the system and disconnect it from the voltage supply. To do this, pull off the
wired terminal strip (A) toward the front.

If necessary, remove other connection cables (Setup, LAN, Bus Out).

3

Disconnect the central processing unit from the modules and remove from the DIN rail. To
do this, please follow the instructions on dismounting previously provided in this document.
