Engine Oil Check

1. Make sure pump/engine is placed on level ground.
2. Remove the engine oil dipstick from its holder (Figure 11).

3. Verify that engine oil level (Figure 12) is maintained

between the two notches on the dipstick.

4. If the pump's engine oil is low, fill engine crankcase with

lubricating oil through filler hole, but

DO NOT overfill.

5. The oil listed in Table 4 is recommended to ensure

better engine performance. Use class CD or higher

grade motor oil.

DIPSTICK

Hydraulic Oil Check

1. Determine if the hydraulic oil level is low by observing

the level of the oil in the

hydraulic oil sight glass

(Figure 13).
