Resolution

Go to [Menu] [Settings] [Fax Settings] [Fax Tx Settings] [Resolution] to decide the document res-
olution.

Press 【▲】 or 【▼】 to select the wanted resolution.

Press 【OK】 to apply the selected resolution.
Standard -> default resolution
for sending documents normally consisting of texts.
Fine
for sending documents consisting of fine characters.
Superfine
for documents consisting of fine characters as a dictionary and
detailed photos
Image Type

Go to [Menu] [Settings] [Fax Settings] [Fax Tx Settings] [Image Type] to decide the document
resolution.

Press 【▲】 or 【▼】 to select the wanted document type.

Press 【OK】to apply the selected type setting.
Text -> Default
for document with general texts.
Fast. Only black and white images are sent.
Photo
for document with exquisite photos.
Very slow. Contrast in the document is sent.
In case the original size is equal to B5 SEF only text can be possible
and cannot be selected with any photos.
Photos and standard resolution cannot be selected at the same time.
The standard resolution can be used only for documents and is to be
changed to the fine resolution when photos are selected.
