Settings and Changes of Each Function

Fax Forward
The incoming fax can be automatically re-directed to somewhere else according to user-selected number and
options. This function is useful to receive the fax that is sent to your office during holidays at your home.
Fax Forward Setting
1 Go to [Menu] [Settings] [Fax Settings] [Rx Settings] [Fax Forward] [Fax Forward set].
2 Use 【▲】 or 【▼】 to set fax forward.
3 Press 【OK】 button to apply the fax forwarding mode.
OFF → Default
setting [Fax Forward Set] is not used.
Fax automatically prints the incoming documents in this case.
ON The incoming Fax is forwarded(re-directed) to specific fax number set
by the user.
Setting Fax Forward Number
1 The Fax forward setting is possible only when the setting is on through [Menu] [Settings] [Fax Set-
tings] [Fax Rx Setting] [Fax Forward Setting].
2 Select and save the Fax forward number through [Menu] [Settings] [Fax Settings] [Fax Rx Setting]
[Fax Forward Setting] [Forward Number]
- The forward number remains effective until you change it to another number.
Confidential Rx
With this function on, confidential documents can be received to the fax machine only by the one who knows
the password.
1 Go to [Menu] [Settings] [Fax Settings] [Rx Settings] [Confidential Rx].
2 Press 【▲】 or 【▼】 to set this function.
3 Press【OK】button to save the setting.
- When Confidential Rx is on, you have to enter the password.
Enter the 4-digit password, and then press 【OK】
