Simple MIDI Control
Most MIDI keylDoards (including the PSR-
2500» of course) transmit note and velocity
(touch response) information via the MIDI
OUT connector whenever a note is played
on the keyboard. If the MID! OUT
connector is connected to the MIDI IN
connector of a second keyboard
(synthesizer» etc.) or a tone generator
(essentially a synthesizer with no
keyboard), the second keyboard or tone
generator will respond precisely to notes
played on the original transmitting
keyboard. The result is that you can
effectively play two instruments at once,
providing thick multi-instrument sounds.
The PSR-2500 also transmits "program
change" data when one of its voices is
selected. Depending on how the receiving
device is set up, the corresponding voice
will be automatically selected on the
receiving keyboard or tone generator
whenever a voice is selected on the PSR-
2500.
Einfache MIDI-Steuenmg
Die meisten MIDI-Keyboards, wie
natürlich auch das PSR-2500,
übertragen Noten- und Dynamikdaten
(Anschlagsdaten) über Dire MIDI OUT-
Buchse, wenn ein Taste angeschlagen
wird. Falls der MIDI OUT-Anschluß mit
dem MIDI IN-Eingang eines zweiten
Keyboards (Synthesizer) oder
Ibngenerators (praktisch ein
Sjmthesizer ohne Manual) verbunden
wird, reproduziert das angeschlossene
Gerät die Noten mit der E^amik, wie
sie auf dem sendenden Keyboard
gespielt werden. Damit würden
praktisch zwei Instrumente zugleich
spielen und es würde ein wesentlich
vollerer Klang entstehen. Das PSR-
2500 überträgt außerdem eine
Programmwechselmeldung, wenn ein
Stimmenwechsel vorgenommen wird. Je
nach Einstellung des empfangenden
Instruments, wird dadurch eine Stimme
mit der entsprechenden
Programmwechselnummer in diesem
Instrument abgenifen, wenn eine
Stimme im PSR-2500 gewählt wird.
Commande MIDI simple
La plupart des claviers MIDI (y compris
bien sûr le PSR-2500) transmettent» via le
connecteur MIDI OUT, des données de
note et de vélocité (réponse au toucher)
chaque fois qu'une note est jouée sur le
clavier. Si le connecteur MIDI OUT est
relié au connecteur MIDI IN d'un second

jouées sur le clavier de transmission. Ced
signifie qu'il est possible de jouer
effectivement de deux instruments en
même temps, ce qui donne un son mutti-
instrumental d'une grande richesse. Le
PSR-2500 transmet également des
données de "changement de programme"
chaque fois qu'une de ses voix est
sélectionnée. Selon la manière dont
l'appareil de réception a été réglé, la voix
correspondante sera automatiquement
sélectionnée sur le clavier ou générateur
de sons de réception chaque fois qu'une
nouvelle voix est sélectionnée sur le PSR-
2500.
Control MIDI simple
