For connection of the audio/video cabie
(supplied) or optical digital audio cable (optional)
to an external audio system. The type of the
output signal will be automatically selected
according to the cord or cable to be connected.

In/Out select switch [LINE SEL fHii IN]-----------
GHQ: Select this setting when sending video or audio signals to an external device
(such as a stereo or TV set) from the video input/output connector and audio
input/output (optical digital audio output) connector. Normally, this setting
should be used. (See pages 66, 67 and 69.)
IN: Select this setting when sending video or audio signals from an external device
such as a video camera to the video input/output connector and audio
input/output (optical digital audio output) connector so that the images appear
on the screen. (See page 70.)
