Troubleshooting

Before requesting service for this player, check the chart below for a possible cause of the problem

you are experiencing. Some simple checks or a minor adjustment on your part may eliminate the

problem and restore proper operation.

If you are in doubt about some of the check points, or if the remedies indicated in the chart do not

solve the problem, consult your dealer for instructions in U.S.A. or refer to the dealer from whom you

have made your purchase to locate a convenient servicentre in Canada.

the AC adaptor or the battery pack.

•The HOLD switch on the player’s right-side

panel is set to the “HOLD” position. Turn off the
HOLD function.

• It is impossible to turn on the player with the re­

mote control unit if the player is powered by the
battery pack.

tion, the player is automatically set to the stand­

by mode after approx. 15 minutes have elapsed
in the stop mode when the player is powered by

the AC adaptor, or the power turns itself off after

is powered by the battery pack (Auto power-off
function). Turn the power back to ON.
