No subtitles. •Subtitles appear only with discs which contain
them.
•Subtitles are cleared from the screen. Perform
the steps on page 47 to display the subtitles.
•Some subtitles recorded around point A or B
may fail to appear during A-B repeat play.
•Some subtitles recorded around the marker may
fail to appear.

The subtitle language
does not change to
the selected one
immediately.
• In some cases, the subtitle language is not
changed to the selected one immediately.
Angle cannot be
changed. •This function is dependent on software availabili­
ty. Even if a disc has a number of angles record­
ed, these angles may be recorded for specific
scenes only.
VSS function does
not work. •This function does not work with DVD Karaoke
discs.
•This function may not work with some Dolby
Digital 2.1ch or 3.1ch DVDs. Additionally, this ef­
fect may not work properly with some Dolby
Digital DVDs other than 2.1ch or 3.1ch, depend­
ing on the software.

•Confirm the setting at the “3 Menus” of “1 Disc
Languages”.

The password for
rating level has been
forgotten.
• Reset all the
settings to Factory
Preset.
•While the player is in the stop mode, press and
hold the player’s SKIP/SEARCH (!◄◄) button
and the PAUSE (DD) button down simultaneously
and then press and hold PLAY (t>) for longer
than 3 seconds (until "Initialized” disappears
from the screen). The lock will be released and
all initial settings will return to the default values.
