□ After operation

When the player is not in use, to save power, press and hold STOP (□) to set the player
to the standby mode. The player is automatically set to the standby mode after approx.

15 minutes have elapsed in the stop mode (Auto power-off function). (If the player is

powered by the battery pack, the power will automatically be turned off after approx.

5 minutes have elapsed.)

•To return to the menu screen, press

TITLE, MENU or RETURN (for DVD), or

RETURN (for Video CD). (The buttons

may not work depending on the disc
used.)

•When (S) appears on the screen while a

button is being operated, it means that
the corresponding operation is prohibited
by the player or the disc.

•Closing the outer cover or turning the

LCD display screen to OFF while playing
music CDs reduces power consumption.

These measures also conserve battery
power when operating off the battery
pack. (Under these conditions, the bat
tery pack provides 4.5 hours of continu
ous playback when playing music CDs.)
