Remove the shipping tape.

Pull the top cover handle
forward and open the top
cover.

Remove the protection cap
attached to the cartridge.

• Do not touch the roller.
Rock the cartridge from side
to side several times
carefully.

Install the cartridge
holding the two
tabs.

Remove the protection cap
and protection sheet attached
to the drum unit.
• Do not touch or scratch the
green drum surface.
• Do not expose the drum unit to
light for more than 5 minutes.

Install the drum unit on the
toner cartridge by holding
the two tabs.
Close the top cover.
