A-7

TONE (tone) is a general controller for the
FM frequencies generated in the system.
High settings introduce more high frequency
harmonic contents.

TUNE (tune) sets the tune of the output.

FM+PARALLELL “FM+PAR”

FM+PARALLELL is the bombastic FM+
machine. It brings three exact copies of the
most efficient FM+ structure.

1-3FRQ (modulator 1-3 listed frequency)
sets the listed frequencies for Modulator 1-
3
.

1-3ENV (modulator 1-3 volume & envelope)
controls the final output volume of the FM
blocks, as described by the FM+ Envelope
Figure.

TONE (tone) is a general controller for the
FM frequencies generated in the system.
High settings introduce more high frequency
harmonic contents.

TUNE (tune) sets the tune of the output.

FM+DYNAMIC “FM+DYN”

FM+DYNAMIC is the wildest of the FM+
machines, where the frequencies are set
continuously instead of using the listed fre-
quency.

1FRQ modulator 1 linear frequency) sets the
linear continuous frequency control of modu-
lator 1.

1FEN (modulator 1 frequency envelope)
controls the speed and depth of the expone-
tial envelope. The envelope is trigged for all
note-on’s played and is added to 1FRQ.

1VOL (modulator 1 volume & feedback) con-
trols the final output volume of the first FM
block. For high 1VOL settings amplitude
feedback is introduced to emphasis the
effect on the carrier.

1VEN (modulator 1 volume envelope) con-
trols the speed and depth of the exponential
envelope. It is trigged for all note-ons played
and is added to the output volume block of
modulator 1.

2FRQ (modulator 2 exponential frequency)
sets the exponential continuous frequency
control of modulator 2.

2ENV (modulator 2 volume & envelope) con-
trols the final output volume of the second
FM block.

2FB (modulator 2 feedback) controls the
modulator 2 feedback.

TUNE (tune) sets the tune of the output.
