• Threading the machine
* Raise the thread take-up iever to its highest position by
turning the handwheei counterciockwise.
* Raise the presser foot lifter.
* Piace a spool on the spool pin, with thread coming off
as shown.
rn Draw the end of thread around the upper thread guide.
J While holding the thread near the spool, dravy-the end; 6f
the thread down:arQUnd the check spring holder ^
] Firmly draw the thread up and from right to left over the
take-up iever then down into the take-up iever eye.
I~4l Slide the thread behind the needle bar thread guide on
the left.
[51 Thread the needle from front to back.
