Configuration Using the Web Interface
IP Configuration
This function allows you to configure the ES8510-XTE’s IP address settings.
IP Configuration Page
DHCP Client
You can select to Enable or Disable the DHCP Client function. When the DHCP
Client function is enabled, an IP address is assigned to the switch from the
network’s DHCP server. In this mode, the default IP address is replaced by the
one assigned by DHCP server. If DHCP Client is disabled, then the IP address
that you specified is used.
IP Address
You can assign the IP address reserved by your network for the ES8510-XTE.
If the DHCP Client function is enabled, you do not need to assign an IP
address to the ES8510-XTE, because it is overwritten by the DHCP server and
displays here. The default IP Address is 192.168.250.250.
