telephone connection.

To test system communication, do the following:

1. Scroll to

System tests

and press Enter.

2. The display shows

Enter code

. Enter the master code and press Enter.

3. The display shows

Sensor test

. Scroll to

Comm test

and press Enter.

4. The display shows

Comm test is on

.

5. After the communication test is successful, the display shows

Comm test OK

.

6. Press Status repeatedly to exit.

Note: If your system is not connected to a central monitoring station and you do
not have a voice report destination programmed, you won’t be able to perform
the communication test.

If the communication test is successful, the system displays Comm test OK. If the test is
unsuccessful, the Status button will light and within ten minutes the panel will display
Comm failure. If a communication test fails, call your security system dealer.

Note: During a two-way voice session, additional alarms will be indicated at the
panel immediately and reported to the Central Station as soon as the session
ends.
