ERASING A SINGLE TRACK

ERASING ALL TRACKS ON A DISC

MD EDIT

If you erase all the tracks, you cannot retrieve them again.

1 Press the MD button on the control panel and

load an MD.

2 In stop mode, press the MD EDIT button

repeatedly until "Erase All?" is displayed.

3 Within 10 seconds, press the ENTER button.

The display changes to "Erase?AII?''.

Make sure that It Is all right to erase all tracks.

To cancel erasing tracks, press the ■ button.

4 Within 8 seconds, press the ENTER button.

"TOC Edit" is displayed and all tracks on the inserted disc

are erased.

After completion of the erasure, "Blank Disc" is displayed.

MD

1 Press the MD button on the controi panei and

load an MD.

2 Select or play back the track to be erased using

the ◄◄ or ►► button or the numbered buttons
on the remote control.

3 Press the MD EDIT button repeatedly so that

"Erase" is dispiayed.

Example:

When erasing the 3rd track

4 Within 10 seconds, press the ENTER button.

The display changes to "Erase?".

Make sure that it is all right to erase the track.

To cancel erasing the track, press the ■ button.

5 Within 8 seconds, press the ENTER button.

The selected track is erased and all the succeeding track

numbers are decreased by 1.

"TOC Edit" is displayed and the data concerning the contents

of the editing are registered.
