8.2.1. 7-port Ethernet Switch BCM53115M

The BCM53115 is a 7-port Ethernet switch with five tri-speed MACs and two GMACs
respectively. On the board, five tri-speed MAC ports (P0 ~ P4) and one GMAC port are
used. Figure 8-9 shows such connections and the port mapping can be found in Table
8-4. The feat
ures of the switch are summarized in the following:

The port LED configurations are:

• Port0 : LED[15]: SPEED 1G, LED[18]: LINK/ACT

• Port1 : LED[14]: LINK/ACT

• Port2 : LED[10]: LINK/ACT

• Port3 : LED[6]: LINK/ACT

• PHY Register setting for the LED control stays with a default value.

The base switch requires three power rails of 3.3V, 2.5V and 1.2V, which requires
power sequencing in the following order: 3.3V->2.5V->1.2V.
