6 Using the Rotational Vacuum Concentrator

6.1 Initial Start-Up

Before the initial start-up, please ensure that your rotational vacuum
concentrator is properly set up and installed (see chapter 5 "Set-up
and Connection").

6.2 Switching the Rotational Vacuum Concentrator ON

Press the mains power switch on the front of the right side (see
Fig. 2.1, page 11).

The CD

plus

control unit performs a self-test and an initialization. This

may take several seconds.

6.2.1 Opening and Closing the Lid

The lid can be opened if the rotor chamber is aerated and if the rotor
is at a standstill (see 6.3.4 "Mode"). The rotational vacuum
concentrator cannot be started if the lid is opened.

Select "mode" with the left-hand function key.

Select "Open lid" with the up and down keys.

To close, press slightly on the lid until both locks are locked.

6.2.2 Installation of Angle Rotors

Only use inserts that are suitable for the rotor (see 11.2 "Rotor
program").

Always load the opposite inserts of the rotors with the same
accessories and fill to avoid imbalance.

Push the loaded rotor onto the rotor shaft until it reaches the
stop.

Depending on the version, up to three rotors can be pushed onto the
rotor shaft at the same time.

Follow the safety instructions and hazard warnings in chapter 3!
