Action:

You have two options here: Block or Pass. Block means the data packet which

matches this rule will be blocked by firewall; Pass means the data packet which matches

this rule will be passed by firewall;

Service:

This parameter indicates the service type of this rule. The possible type includes

the system default services and user defined services;

Source:

This parameter indicates the IP address range of data source;

Destination:

This parameter indicates the IP address range of destination;

Function Summary

This feature allows you to forward incoming traffic on certain ports in order to access

servers behind the NAT. This feature can let you setup a web server, mail server, FTP

server, DNS, etc on your LAN so it can be accessed from the Internet.

Detailed Configurations

The port forwarding table in MB5000 consists of many port forwarding items.

Enable Checkbox:You can enable or disable a port forwarding item by checking

or unchecking this checkbox;

Move up, Move down: Re-arrange the order of each item in the list;

„

Apply Change: Click the Apply Change button to validate the change

immediately. No reboot is needed here;
