Now that you have placed your Edit Markers around the section of video you want to keep, you
can click the Scissors to "cut out" your segment and move it to the Storyboard below.
Each subsequent segment cut will be placed at the end of the Storyboard arrangement.
Tip: If you are unhappy with your Edit Marker placements, you can adjust them
manually by dragging with your mouse or reset them using the Clear Mark
button.
*Be aware that the editor is non-destructive in its behavior. When a cut is made, the editor will
actually copy the video segment to the Storyboard, keeping the original video clip intact and
unchanged in the Preview Panel. This not only protects your original video but also allows for
additional editing of the same content should the need arise.
