5.6.1 PLAYER Mode

Where a TAKE is loaded either by the LAST TAKE menu or by the BROWSE FILE menu, the SX-R4 will
switch to PLAYER mode and it reconfigures itself automatically with the same parameters as during the
recording of the concerned Take; Routing - Monitoring - Line Out - Headphone Volume etc.

The tables below show the actions of the Joystick and of the Toggle Switch:

Reduce the headphone volume in
1dB steps

Reduce the volume continuously
down to minimum

RIGHT

Increase the headphone volume in
1dB steps

Increase the volume continuously
up to maximum

Lock/Unlock the Joystick and the
toggle switch

Play the selected Take

LEFT while Playing

PAUSES at current position

STOP playing

RIGHT

Switches to Record mode and start
recording (scratch record, see note
below)



NOTE:

pressing the toggle switch to the right [REC] while playing a Take or at any time, the SX-R4
automatically switches back to recording mode and immediately starts recording a new Take
(Scratch Record). In this case the pre-record buffer remain empty, thus the pre-record time is
equal to zero.
