Introduction
SMX-15M5x Series cameras are 5 megapixel CMOS cameras with USB 3.0 interface suit-
able for scientific and industrial application. The cameras are designed for capturing,
streaming and storing of high quality digital images.
There are the following models available:

SMX-15M5M (5 megapixel, monochrome)
•
SMX-15M5C (5 megapixel, color)
The SMX-15M5x cameras feature:

USB 3.0 communication interface
•
Duralumin housing with C/CS-mount
The SMX-15M5x cameras have the following features:

2592 x 1944 active imaging pixels
•
High speed: 14 fps at 2592 x 1944
•
Pixel rate up to 96 MHz
•
Rolling, Global Reset (only for Snapshot mode) shutter
•
External trigger input/output mode
•
Low power consumption
•
No external power supply required
•
Adjustable frame rate
Programmable functions include viewport window settings, adjustable exposure time
and gain, selectable sensor clock frequency and image decimation, flipping image hor-
izontally and vertically. The cameras can be used in any digital imaging application
such as microscopy, video conferencing, webcasting, surveillance and security systems,
etc.
