Appendix A: Software Installation Guide for
Accessing the Hard Drive on a Computer
This chapter describes the procedure for connecting the duplicator to the
USB port on a computer. This software is used to load an image file directly
into the duplicator’s hard drive.
Minimum Requirements
Hardware
The hardware requirements for the computer are:
■ Pentium 3 Class microprocessor or better
■ USB 2.0 Type B Port
■ 32 MBytes of RAM
■ 10 MBytes of free disc space on your hard drive
Operating System
The computer must have one of these operating systems installed:
■ Microsoft Windows 2000
■ Microsoft Windows XP
■ Microsoft Windows 2003
■ Microsoft Windows Vista
Installing the File System Driver and Utility
Follow these steps to Install the File System Driver and Utility:
Note: The serial number is located on the Installation CD. Copy
it down before inserting the CD into the CD-ROM drive.
Step 1: Insert the Installation CD into the computer’s CD-ROM drive
Step 2: Using the “My Computer” icon or Windows Explorer, click on the
CD drive.
Step 3: Double-click Setup.exe Icon as shown:
