Accessing your Calendar on Pocket PC

To access Calendar on your Pocket PC OS device:

1. Sync your device.

For instructions, see “Syncing other Pocket PC OS devices not
running Windows Mobile 5” (page 98)
.

2. On your device, tap Start|Calendar.

The Calendar application appears. You will see your Lotus Notes
Calendar entries there.

Note

Any note in a Calendar entry you create on your device will be
truncated in Lotus Notes to 32K. This is a Lotus Notes limitation.

Accessing additional Calendars on Pocket PC OS

For instructions on how to configure Pylon to sync additional
Calendars, see “Syncing additional application databases or views”
(page 91).

To access additional Calendars on your Pocket PC OS device:

1. Tap Start|Calendar.

2. Tap Tools|Categories to display the Categories list and select the cat-

egory you are using to map the additional Calendar you wish to
view.

The Calendar items from the additional Calendar appear.

Using Address Book on Pocket PC OS

Note that application names differ slightly on different devices. On
newer Palm devices and on Pocket PC devices, the Address Book
application is called Contacts. See Table 4-1, “Application names on
different device platforms,” on page 63
.

1. Sync your device.

2. On your device, tap Start|Contacts.

The Contacts application appears. You will see your Lotus Notes
Address Book entries there. All information from your Lotus Notes
entries are there with the exception of home fax and pager
numbers, which are not brought down to the device.

Note

Any note in an Address Book entry you create on your device will be
truncated in Lotus Notes to 32K. This is a Lotus Notes limitation.
