4-3 HOLD MODE

Refer to Figure 4-2 on page 4-7 and Table 4-6
below. In the HOLD mode:

All instrument functions are locked

All existing values are retained

The instrument stops responding to
sensor signals

The last measured value is displayed

The last output value remains at the
isolated current output connections

Alarms and ON/OFF-Controllers are held
in their last state

No keys are recognized except entry to
the diagnostic routing.

HOLD Mode Key Functions

If the sensor cable must be disconnected, the
instrument can be put in the HOLD mode, in
which all existing signal levels and output
current levels and output current levels are
maintained. This may be useful to prevent
disturbing an ON/OFF-control loop connected
to the relay contacts.

1. Press the UP ARROW and DOWN

ARROW at the same time to put the
instrument on HOLD.

2. If the security is activated, enter the

security identification (id) code and press
ENTER to continue.

3. Hld, YES, flash briefly, then Hld flashes

alternately with the last oxygen reading.
The output signal will remain unchanged
until the instrument returns to the RUN
mode.

4. Press ENTER to return to the RUN mode,

or continue with Section 4-4 Diagnostics
Mode on page 4-8.
