Synchronizing your CLIÉ handheld with a
computer wirelessly

If you are using a Bluetooth compatible computer, you can wirelessly
synchronize information, such as calendars, contacts and tasks, between your
CLIÉ handheld and a computer without connecting the cradle to the computer.

Operating a digital still camera or
camcorder from the CLIÉ handheld remotely

Note

This function may not be used depending on where you live.

You can remotely control and capture images on a Bluetooth BIP compatible
digital still camera (DSC-FX77)* and camcorder (DCR-TRV80 or DCR-
TRV80E)* with using your CLIÉ handheld.

Connecting to the Internet via a mobile
phone

You can browse websites or exchange e-mails by using the Bluetooth
compatible mobile phones.

Necessary device: Bluetooth compatible mobile phones

Application to use:

– To browse websites: “NetFront v3.0 for CLIE” (page 68)

– To exchange e-mails: “CLIE Mail” (page 67)

Set up: You have to install “NetFront v3.0 for CLIE” and “CLIE Mail” in

your CLIÉ handheld. You have to be registered with an internet service
provider in advance. You have to set the connecting methods, register your
mobile phone to use or set the network.
