Driver Files
The enclosed SiS 5597/5598 Windows 3.1 driver contains the
following files (in compressed format):
Ø SETUP.EXE
Ø Other Files Related to driver installation.
Installation
1. Click “File” menu and select “ Run … ” menu item.
2. In “ Run” dialog, type the source execution file, then press “ OK”.
The execution file in the CD-ROM is at
D:\SOYO_CD\REV_10\UTILITY\SIS_VGA\WIN31\SETUP.EXE”
.
3. Follow the setup program on-screen instructions.
4. The setup procedure will create a “ SiS Multimedia Vx.xx”
program group which will contain 4 items:
Ø Multimedia Manager
Ø SVGA Setup
Ø Center Screen
Ø Uninstall
5. A successful setup dialog will appear when setup is complete.
The user can choose to restart system now or restart later.
Graphics Setup
1. In “ SiS Multimedia Vx.xx” program group, choose the “ SVGA
Setup” icon to enter “ SiS VGA Configuration System” screen.
2. In “ SiS VGA Configuration System” screen, choose which
options you would like to use.
