CONFIGURATION AND OPERATION
Before using the printer, it is best to read this manual thoroughly first. Otherwise, you may disturb
default settings around which the instructional procedures in this manual are based upon.
3.1 OPERATING MODES
The operating status of this printer can be set to one of five modes:
1) Online mode
2) Offline mode
3) Printer Setting modes:
User Mode, Interface Mode, Cartridge Mode, SEMBL Mode, Advanced Mode, Hex
Dump Mode, Test Print Mode)
4) Error mode
5) Test Print mode
The printer status is normal; printing can begin
Printing is stopped; ready for configuration
Printer has not been set up correctly. The LCD
shows “Head Open”, “Paper End”, etc
Test prints can be performed.
Hold down Feed key
and turn printer on
Turn printer on
