National variants
This setting is used to define country-specific features
such as emergency numbers and call charge parameters.
The setting does not affect the language of the display.
User language
You can set the display language independently of the na-
tional variant.
You cannot change an MSN if forwarding is acti-
vated for it (see ➔ page 65).
If you do not enter any MSNs, all directory num-
bers assigned to the NT are accepted.
If you enter an incorrect MSN, you can only con-
duct outgoing calls. Callers will hear the busy
tone and, with ISDN, an information text will ap-
pear on the display.
