Error codes on your PC when using
Multi-Function Center software
When using the Multi-Function Center software and the printer or scanner function is initiated and an error
occurs, an 8 digit error code will be displayed on the status log window.
See the printer 8 digit error code below and the scanner 8 digit code on page 95.
Recording paper set lever:
When this digit is “1”, the recording paper set lever is
released. Push it back to set the lever (p. 9).
Paper jam near the recording paper entrance:
When this digit is “1”, the recording paper is not fed into
the unit properly or has jammed near the recording
paper entrance. To clear, see page 97.
Paper jam under the film cartridge or too much
paper on the paper stacker:
When this digit is “1”, the recording paper jammed
under the film cartridge or there is too much paper on
the paper stacker. Clear the jammed paper (p. 96) or
remove the printed paper.
Cover open:
When this digit is “1”, the top cover is open. Close it.
Film:
When this digit is “1”, film is empty or the film is not
inserted in the cartridge correctly. Replace the film or
film cartridge with a new one (p. 99) or reinsert the film
correctly by referring to step 8 on page 100.
Unit overheat:
When this digit is “1”, the unit is overheated. Leave it to
cool down.
