Turning Off the Power

If you simply turn off the power, not only can recorded content be lost, but
the VS-1824 itself could malfunction. In order to safeguard the recorded
performance and turn off the power safely, you must perform the Shutdown
procedure when you are finished.

Hold down [SHIFT] and press [SHUT/EJECT (STOP)].

“SHUTDOWN/EJECT ?” will be displayed.
Press [ENTER/YES].

“STORE Current?” (store the current song?) will be displayed.
If you wish to store the currently selected song, press
[ENTER/YES]. If you do not need to save it, press [EXIT/NO].
However, this display will not appear in the case of a demo
song or if the song is protected (i.e., cannot be edited).
