Press [F2 (Erase)]. If [F2] does not show “Erase,” first press

[PAGE] so that “Erase” appears, and then press [F2 (Erase)].

Press [STATUS] for the track that you wish to erase. [STATUS]

will light red.

] to move the cursor to “START.”

Use the TIME/VALUE dial to specify the starting time of the

area that you wish to erase.

Use the TIME/VALUE dial to specify the ending time of the

area that you wish to erase.

Press [F4 (Exec)]. The Track Erase operation will be executed.

You can press [

move the cursor from
“START” to “END.”

About [F2 (NOW)] and
[F3 (JUMP)] buttons.

NOW:
You can set the present
time to the START or END
time. If you want to set the
present time at the
beginning time of a range
you want to delete, then
make sure the cursor is at
“START,” and press
[F2 (NOW)].
JUMP:
You can shift the present
time to the time set for
START or END. To shift
the present time to the end
time of the range you want
to delete, make sure the
cursor is at “END,” then
press [F3 (JUMP)].
