12.6 Detect WAN Configuration
Your modem has the capability of automatically sensing protocol type (DHCP or PPPoE). This process is designed
to start once you have connected your DSL Router. If you want to start this process manually, select Detect WAN
Configuration from the Configuration menu.
If you select Detect WAN Configuration, the following screen will be displayed. Click on detect configuration.
NOTE: Check the DSL LED on your Router and confirm your DSL sync. The LED should be solid green. If you do
not have a DSL sync, check your hardware connection. Refer to section 5 (Installing the Hardware), if necessary.
The following screen will be displayed while WAN Detect is in progress.
