Do not force the removal
of the printer controller
board. The cable
connections may be
damaged if you try to
remove the board beyond
the built-in stop.
6 To access the
controller board, pull
on the thumbscrews
firmly, but evenly.
Do not pull the board
farther than the built-in
stop.
7 Locate the SIMM slots
on the printer
controller board.
If you need to replace
a currently installed
SIMM, continue with
Step 8.
If you do not need to
replace a SIMM, skip
to Step 10 (page 5-10).
