technology that smooths
the jagged edges of
curved or near
vertical/horizontal lines.
Produce Test Prints (see
Chapter 3
) with TrueRes
switched both ON and
OFF. Inspect the TrueRes
target on the Test Print:
If:

TrueRes is not
functional (no
apparent difference
between ON and
OFF setting)
2.
TrueRes appears
excessively dark:
or
TrueRes appears
insufficient

Failed Controller

Print Density set too dark/light

Replace Controller.
