RS-232 parameters for the I150, sample scale and printer/computer (if used) must be
configured the same; baud rate, parity, data bits and stop bits must match. Refer to
the
RS-232 submenu section of this manual and the Print menu section of the manual
supplied with the sample scale for instructions on configuring RS-232 parameters.

1. Verify that all connections have been
made and the sample scale is ON.
2. Set the sample scale to the desired
weighing unit.
3. Place the correct sample number of
pieces on the sample scale. This
must be same number entered in the
“APW” parameter of RS-232
submenu.
4. Press the PRINT button on the sample
scale (for CT balances, press and
hold the UNITS button). If a com-
puter is connected to the sample
scale you may send a “P” command
to initiate output.
When the I150 receives weight data
from the sample scale, it will auto-
matically change to the parts count-
ing mode if it is not already in that
mode.
5. Place the parts to be counted on the
load receiver and read the quantity
on the I150 display.
