The selectable power levels are 1 thru
6 and SL (Speed Loader). Level 1 is the
vehicle’s stock power. Level 2 thru 6
produce incremental power increases
and level SL produces the maximum
power available. The selection of a
power level can be done with the
vehicle on, off (when the Banks
PowerPDA is on), or while driving.
To prevent damage to the factory
transmission, Banks recommends that
automatic transmission vehicles do
not exceed Level 4 with PowerPDA
while the vehicle is experiencing
load (towing, climbing a steep grade,
carrying a load, etc.).
To change power levels use the 5-way
navigator button. See Figure 1.

Press the navigator button up to
increase the displayed power level.

Press the navigator button down to
decrease the displayed power level.

To enable usage of power level SL,
press the center button on the 5-way
navigator. Touch the ‘More>’ to go to
‘System Menu 2 of 2’.

Next, touch the ‘Speed Loader’
button.
Speed-Loader Warning
Enabling the Speed-Loader requires
that the EGT Thermocouple that was
included in your kit be installed. If
the Speed-Loader is enabled and the
thermocouple has not been installed
the tuner will detect the missing
thermocouple and will result in a tuner
fault.
Note: For thermocouple installation
instructions refer to Section 4. After
the thermocouple installation is
complete then return to Section 6 to
enable power level ‘Speed-Loader’.

If the thermocouple has been
installed then press ‘Yes’ to continue.

Warning: The Speed-Loader is a
more aggressive power level than
power level 6. By enabling this
level you accept all risks and agree
to the warning and limitations
of liability stated in the Six-gun
owners manual. The tuner will
record access to the Speed-Loader
level. Touch the ‘I Accept’ button to
proceed. See Figure 35.

Touch ‘Enable Speed-Loader’ to
activate the SL power level. Repeat to
disable Speed-Loader. The information
line displays the current enabled or
disabled status. See Figure 36.
