UPDATINg YoUR BANKS PoWERPDA SoFTWARE & BANKS SIX-gUN
DIESEL TUNER
The Banks PowerPDA is designed such
that new software updates can be
easily installed. check the BanksPower
web site at <http://www.bankspower.
com/downloads> for the latest version
of the Banks PowerPDA software.
Once you have determined that your
Banks PowerPDA should be updated,
follow the instructions on the page for
the appropriate software update.
The Banks Six-Gun Diesel Tuner is
designed such that new firmware
updates can be easily installed. check
the BanksPower web site at <http://
www.bankspower.com/downloads>
for the latest version of the Banks Six-
Gun Diesel Tuner firmware. Once you
have determined that your Banks Six-
Gun Diesel Tuner should be updated,
follow the instructions on the page for
the appropriate firmware update.

LCD PRoPERTIES
The PowerPDA can automatically dim
the System Monitor LcD brightness
for nighttime operation. You can set
the LcD brightness value that will be
used, along with the daytime operating
hours. When operating outside these
hours the LcD will dim to the value
you specify.
Values are saved as they are changed.
1.
Press the center button on the
5-way navigator. Touch the ‘More>’ to
go to ‘System Menu 2 of 2’.

Next, touch the ‘LCD Properties’
button.
3.
Touch the ‘Next’ button to move to
‘LcD Properties 2 of 3’. See Figure 70
and Figure 71.
4.
Touch the check box to enable or
disable the ‘Auto Dimming Feature’.
5.
Touch the ‘Increase’ or ‘Decrease’
buttons to adjust LcD brightness to
desired level for nighttime operation.
Touch ‘Test Value’ to see LcD
brightness.
