Step 2:
Remove the drive slot blank plate from the drive bracket.
Step 0:
4.5.5 Remove the 3.5” Drive Bracket
In order to access all the 5.25” drive bay retention screw holes, it is necessary to remove
the 3.5” drive bracket. To remove the 3.5” drive bracket, please follow the steps below.
Step 1:
Remove the drive bracket from the EC-1040GB rackmount workstation
(see Section 4.5.3).
Step 2:
Remove the retention screws that secure the 3.5” drive bracket to the 5.25” drive
bracket (Figure 4-6).
