Read entire installation section before start-
ing installation.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
IDENTIFY AND LOCATE
COMPONENTS
If you have not already done so, unpack the
WELD-PAK 175HD from its carton and remove
all packing material around the WELD-PAK
175HD. Remove the following loose items from
the carton ( FIGURES A thru I ):

Si aún no lo ha hecho, desempaque la WELD-
PAK 175HD de su caja y retire todo el material
del empaque de la WELD-PAK 175HD. Retire
las sigientes partes sueltas de la caja (ver
Figuras A thru I ):

LES CHOCS ÉLECTRIQUES peuvent
être mortels.
• Seul un personnel qualifié doit
installer ce matériel.
• Seul un personnel qui a pris con-
naissance du manuel de l'opérateur
de la WELD-PAK 175HD doit
installer et faire fonctionner ce
matériel.
• On doit connecter la machine à une
prise avec mise à la terre conformé-
ment aux codes de l'électricité
nationaux, locaux ou autres applica-
bles.
• L'interrupteur d'alimentation de la
WELD-PAK 175HD doit être sur OFF
(«O») quand on installe le câble de
retour et le pistolet et quand on
connecte le cordon d'alimentation à
l'alimentation d'entrée.
RECONNAÎTRE ET REPÉRER
LES COMPOSANTS
Si ce n'est pas déjà fait, déballer la WELD-PAK 175HD de
son carton et enlever l'emballage qui l'entoure. Enlever
les articles individuels du carton (voir la figures A thru
I ):
INSTALLATION
ELECTRIC SHOCK can kill.
• Only qualified personnel should per-
form this installation.
• Only personnel that have read and
understood the WELD-PAK 175HD
Operating Manual should install and
operate this equipment.
• Machine must be plugged into a
receptacle which is grounded per any
national, local or other applicable elec-
trical codes.
• The WELD-PAK 175HD power switch is
to be in the OFF (“O”) position when
installing work cable and gun and
when connecting power cord to input
power.

• Únicamente el personal calificado
debe operar o instalar este equipo.
• Únicamente el personal que haya leído
y entendido el Manual de Operación de
la WELD-PAK 175HD deberá instalar y
operar este equipo.
• La máquina debe conectarse a un
receptáculo aterrizado de acuerdo con
los códigos eléctricos aplicables
nacionales, locales o de otro tipo.
• Al instalar el cable de trabajo y la
antorcha, y cuando se conecte el cable
de energía a la fuente de alimentación,
el interruptor de encendido de la Weld-
Pak 175HD deberá colocarse en la
posición de “APAGADO” (“O”).
