In the continuous scan mode, your program is free running but
not in real time. The Timer Tick increases by the value you
choose in the simulation setup. This allows you to multiply
how much your program increments in time for each scan.
The
Timer Tick
setting has the same effect on your
simulation, regardless of the scan mode selected.
Timer Ticks
Timer Ticks set the amount by which timers are incremented
on each scan of the logic.
To modify the Timer Ticks:
1.
Select the
Simulation
menu.
2.
Select
Simulation Setup...
– or –
Click the
[Simulation Setup]
tool. This will cause the
Simulation Setup
dialog box to open, as shown in

Click on the desired
Timer Tick
setting, the default
setting is 1.
4.
Click
[OK]
.
