Select the SUM Amplitude Source
The signal generator can accept internal or external sources for the
SUM amplitude modulation.
Panel Operation 1. Press the MOD key.

2. Press F5 (SUM).
 
3. Press F1 (Source).

select the source.



5. Press Return to return to the
previous menu.

External Source Use the MOD INPUT terminal
on the rear panel when using an
external source.

Note If an external modulation source is selected, the
SUM amplitude is controlled by the ± 5V from the
MOD INPUT terminal on the rear panel. For
example, if the SUM amplitude is set to 50%, then
the maximum amplitude (150% of the carrier ) will
be at +5V, and the minimum amplitude (50% of
the carrier) will be at -5V.
