For Pool Name, type the new pool name.

- For Prefix, type the alphanumeric characters that precede the pool number.

Case-sensitive: Yes

- For Initial Number, type the pool’s initial number.

Digit Limit: 9

Character limit: 32

Click Finish.

In the Confirm window of the Edit Pools wizard, complete the following and then click Apply:

For Task Name, type the name for the task.

Character and symbol limit: 32

Allowable characters and symbols: All alphanumeric except \ / : , ; * ? " < > |

Default: date-task name

For Go to tasks window for status, select to open the task window.

Default: Selected

The pool name is changed.

Recovering blocked pools

CAUTION:

Recover blocked pools for disaster recovery purpose only.

NOTE:

The pool recovery time depends on pool or V-VOL usage and system workload. Calculate

roughly 20 minutes of recovery time for every 100 TB of pool or V-VOL usage.

Prerequisite: You are currently not decreasing the pool capacity.
