Navigating the menus
Notice that Menu, Enter, and Cancel are underlined to help you find
them quickly. You may use these buttons, along with the arrow
buttons to navigate through the menus.
● Press Menu to enter the menu.
● Press Menu multiple times (or use the arrows ) to move through
menu choices. Or, enter a menu item’s number to get to it.
● Press Enter
-- to enter a submenu whose title shows on the display.
-- to select a menu item that is displayed.
-- to enter information you have entered on the display.
-- to start printing a report showing on the display.
● Press Cancel
-- to leave the menu.
-- to start over.
-- to stop any function.
Entering the number of a menu or submenu will select that menu.
Entering text
To enter text, press keypad numbers corresponding to the letters you
need:
When the correct letter appears, press the right arrow once to advance
the blinking cursor, then press the number corresponding to the next
letter you want. Again, press multiple times until the correct letter
appears.
To insert a space, press the right arrow twice.
To erase a character or to backspace, press the left arrow.
To enter a symbol, such as a hyphen or parenthesis, press the
Symbols button multiple times to scroll through a list of symbols.
When finished entering text, press Enter.
